Established in 1987, Blue Streak Electronics (BSE) was one of the first remanufacturers of automotive control modules in North America. After two years of research and development, the first remanufactured unit left our plant in the spring of 1989. In 1992 BSE became affiliated with Standard Motor Products, one of the largest and most respected automotive corporations in the world. Together, we revolutionized the automotive electronic remanufacturing industry and raised it to a new level.

Blue Streak America was established to better service the United States market with the "Critical Core" and "R&R" programs. Blue Streak Europe Limited was also founded in the same year as a joint venture between Blue Streak Electronics of Canada and Intermotor Limited.

1999…
Blue Streak Electronics entered the automotive diagnostic market with The 3 in 1 Blue Streak Diagnostic Monitor (BDM Pro), the most innovative and user friendly scantool on the market. Blue Streak Europe Limited expanded with the acquisition of Injection Correction Limited, the ECU remanufacturing division of Webcon UK.

Blue Streak introduces the first iflash system, providing the tools for the future of remanufactured electronics.

Blue Streak receives ISO 9001 Quality Management System certification.

Blue Streak Europe expanded by establishing a remanufacturing facility in Pisa Italy to service the Italian market.

The first programmer to comply with the J2534 standard is released by BSE. The 2534 Global Programmer becomes an instant success. Blue Streak Europe continued to expand by establishing a remanufacturing facility in Strasbourg France to service the French and German market

Blue Streak Electronics achieves TS 16949 validation, a Quality Management System for automotive-related manufacturers around the world.

Blue Streak Electronics opens a second R&D office in Israel to help stay on top of the increasing complexity of automotive electronic systems.

Blue Streak Industries is the new production centre opened in Mexico to support the North American market.
